New Wheelchairs for patients at St Luke’s Rathgar have been funded costing €35,000. These new Wheelchairs provide greater comfort for patients being transported to and from their radiotherapy treatment and also allow for enjoy in the beautiful gardens during the warmer months.
These models can offer both front and side access. The seat and backrest have been designed with a padded surface to allow a comfortable position. The backrest can be easily reclined by means of a lever on the push handlebar. These Wheelchairs are of great benefit to comfort of patients.
