BBQ and Hog Roast

Sunday 2nd July

Moneystown, Co Wicklow

Last September, with reasonable ease,  they raised a total of €5000, with €2,000 going to the Friends of St Luke's Hospital. Deirdre Turley, Appeals Director was there taking photographs and even had to grab a dish cloth for a while!

This year's event will take place on the 2nd July in Moneystown again. To try to ease the pressure on their limited workforce, Wicklow Parish have joined forces with Killiskey Parish and are hoping that some 'local' Friends of St Luke's might like to help out on the day as well! This will mean no one will have to spend more than an hour at their 'post!'

They are aiming for about 400 people to attend a huge hog roast, serving at 1pm, 3 large marquees will accommodate and homemade salads and desserts will accompany, along with a glass of wine. There'll also be entertainment for the children.

Sooo, they'd appreciate that help! Prospective volunteers, please contact us at the Hospital or Brian O'Rorke on 086 3428226 or Any offers of help or support should, please, be forthcoming as soon as possible! Your Hospital needs you!
